Emily's work in broad range of fields and her experience as a single mother have honed her negotiation, listening, and problem solving skills. She is adept at researching and gathering critical information to make informed final decisions that serve the greatest good. She prizes results driven decisions over agenda driven decisions.

As a litigation paralegal, she did legal research, drafted legal documents and gathered information to present the client’s position while also understanding and acknowledging the perspective of the opposition. As a product litigation technician for Freightliner General Counsel in Product Litigation Department she was responsible for preparing Product litigation and claims management summaries, preparing expense reports and assisting with department’s budget. As an Office Manager for Mortgage Broker, she was responsible for managing the day-to-day mechanics of the office including accounts payable and accounts receivables. As a Compliance Officer she was responsible for ensuring the loans we procured had the necessary documentation and verifications. As an Executive Assistant to the VP and President at Osborne Construction she assisted with bid proposals for million dollar projects, managed complex schedules, prepared executives expense reports, maintained corporate books, license renewals and annual meeting reports for corporation and various LLCs and was responsible for maintaining relationships with key personnel, reviewing technical data, understanding FAR language and other contractual clauses, and working with detailed contracts, Service and Purchase Orders and materials contracts. As Billing Specialist for Medical Consulting firm, she prepared monthly, semi-monthly and ad hoc reports regarding projects, budgets and percentage of work completed and reviewed and summarized complex negotiations and analyses to prepare client invoices and billing statements. These are a few of the positions she  held in her career. In 2017 she achieved her dream of starting a small business and has been successfully running her ‘boutique business’ for seven years in 41st District as a pet sitter/dog walker and by far these are the best clients she has worked with in her career.

Serving as the Chair of the 41st GOP since 2023, Emily learned to balance the competing needs of Precinct Committee Officers and citizen activists and has been instrumental in increasing communication, participation and involvement of the group. She got involved with the Republican party in 2019 when she decided that grassroots action was the tried-and-true method for making positive changes in our community.

She is ready to take on the challenge of reviewing proposed legislation and working with teams and stakeholders to weigh the positive and negative impacts the legislation will have on her constituents.
